An important message for extroverts

The central conceit of (small ‘c’) conservatives is that each of them believes that they are ‘normal’. Anyone who doesn’t conform is unwell, evil or foreign.

This is in contrast to (small ‘l’) liberals, who oppose conformity and believe, in the immortal words of Brian, that “you’re all individuals!”

Understanding this point is not simply a matter of selfishly asserting your individuality. It is also about appreciating and respecting other people’s differences.

With this in mind, here is an important message for extroverts. It will help them understand why introverts find extroverts’ well-intended but persistent social demands an annoying drain on their energy.
